    Day 1:  Lisbon, Portugal

    Welcome to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel.After checking in, you have the rest of the day at leisure. 

     

    Day 2: Lisbon, Portugal

    Guided tour of Lisbon.Visit Sintra, Cascias Bay, Estoril and Hell's Mouth (Boca do Inferno)Henry the Navigator (1394-1460), one of the pioneers or Europe’s seaward expansion, made Lisbon the 15th-century ‘Mistress of the Seas’. The Belem Tower has been dedicated to his memory. The quadrangular Tower of Belém is a monument to Portugal's Age of Discovery. Visit the Moorish Citadel, the impressive Black Horse Square, and other attractions. Later proceed to Sintra, Cascias Bay and Estoril and Hell's Mouth (Boca do Inferno) and take in views of the Atlantic Ocean on the drive along the Portuguese coast.

     

    Day 3: Obidos, Fatima and Coimbra, Portugal 

    Obidos-a fortified city still flanked by towers and bastions overlooking the countryside dotted with windmills. Fatima, stop here to see the sanctuary, made famous by the Virgin Mary’s apparition to three shepherd children, Francisco, Jacinth, and Lucia, on May 13, 1917.

     

    Day 4: Exploring Madrid, Spain

    Welcome to Madrid, the capital of Spain. The old and the new contrast vividly in Madrid, where narrow cobbled lanes and 17th-century chapels border modern boulevards and gleaming skyscrapers. Such is the diversity of modern Madrid, where locals revel in the centuries-old sport of bullfighting in the afternoon and then feast on sushi in the evening.

     

    Day 5: Madrid to Avila

    Post breakfast at the hotel, proceed west to fortified Avila, visit the beautiful Basílica de San Vicente and walls of Avila then proceed to Madrid and on arrival relax overnight at the hotel in Madrid area. 

     

    Day 6: Toledo - Valencia, Spain

    Toledo is one of the Spanish cities with the greatest wealth of monuments. Known as the “city of the three cultures”, because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together there for centuries, behind its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. This great diversity of artistic styles makes the old quarter of the capital of Castile - La Mancha a real open-air museum, which has led to it being declared a World Heritage Site. Visit Toledo and proceed for the overnight stay at Valencia.

     

    Day 7: Valencia, Spain

    Proceed to enjoy superb views over the Sierra Nevada as you cross the Mora Pass. Continue past the cave dwellings near Guadix to the hi-rise of the Costa Blanca. Now through the famous orange groves to Valencia and see the ultra-modern Centre of Arts and Sciences and then circumnavigate the old town, past the City Gates of Serranos, take a walk to the Cathedral and El Miguelete.

     

    Day 8: Barcelona, Spain

    Proceed to Peñíscola to view the sea-lapped castle used in the film El Cid. Continue along the Costa Dorada to Barcelona and arrive at Barcelona, be welcomed by your guide and head for a walking tour of the Gothic quarter. Now drive along the Passeig de Gràcia, where stands the most amazing modernist buildings and continue through the Eixample district to visit Gaudi’s extraordinary, unfinished Sagrada Familia Church. Picasso Museum.

     

    Day 9: Sitges, Spain

    City tour of Sitges. Sitges is a coastal town near Barcelona. Sitges is a privileged enclave on the Mediterranean coast, protected by the Garraf's Parc mountains, Sitges has an excellent microclimate that allows you to enjoy this beautiful coastal town. Interestingly distracted by corners that Sitges has to offer and is highly recommended especially starting Ride La Fragata, climb to the church Sant Bartomeu I Santa Tecla and continue walking in the Raco de la Calma, past museums Maricel, Cau Ferrat and reach the tranquil beach of San Sebastian.Enjoy the beautiful beaches and rejuvenate yourself after the long journey. Overnight stay at Sitges. 

     

    Day 10: Barcelona Airport, Spain

    Depart from Barcelona. After breakfast at the hotel and innumerable memories of Spain and Portugal, check-out and proceed to Barcelona airport to board your flight for back home.
