It also explains how Zermatt changed over time from a mountain village to a vacation destination in the Alps. (This visit is optional. If you wish to add Mt. You will take the train from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch, the cost of which will be covered in the package. Its track leads through the mountains of Eiger and Mönch, up to incomparable panoramas of the surrounding peaks and the Aletsch Glacier. At the Jungfraujoch you will also see the space-age-like weather station, appropriately named The Sphinx, which contains restaurants, souvenir shops, indoor viewing terraces, and the ice palace. You will also experience the spectacular sight of the ice palace which was carved entirely by hand, the entire 1,000 square meters being chiseled painstakingly with an ice axe and saw.

After that visit car-free villages of Murren, Wengen etc and Hiking Trails in the region. This whole day will be spent in the region of Interlaken. You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets)

For gorgeous mountain scenery and tranquility, few spots rival the two carless villages of Murren and Wengen, on either side of the verdant Lauterbrunnen Valley. On a clear day, from Murren, one has a spot-on view of the three most famous Swiss alpine peaks- the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau. Wengen is a more bustling village, with a wider range of restaurants and services.

If you are a hiking enthusiast, you will find several opportunities to hike in the region as well.

Another attraction in the area includes The Trummelbach Falls which are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, stairs, and illumination.

If you wish to add Mt. Jungfrau, you can select the same on the booking page in the optional add ons
